Young Voices Share Big Truths at West Minot Children’s Bible Teaching Event

West Minot Church recently celebrated a special Children’s Bible Teaching event, giving several young people the opportunity to step in front of the congregation and share biblical truths in their own words.

The event, connected with the Church of God’s tradition of encouraging children and teens to develop their gifts for ministry, allowed each participant to prepare and present a Bible lesson complete with illustrations and teaching aids. While the topics were different, each lesson pointed back to the same goal: helping others understand God’s Word in a clear and meaningful way.

Samuel Allen took the congregation back to the beginning of Scripture with a lesson on Adam and Eve, sharing from the opening chapters of Genesis and the story of humanity’s first relationship with God.

Asher Walz presented an encouraging message centered on the truth that Jesus loves and cares about you, reminding listeners that Christ’s love is personal and that no one is overlooked or forgotten by Him.

Eli Allen taught from Matthew 7:13–14 with a lesson on “The Two Paths.” His presentation focused on Jesus’ teaching about the broad and narrow roads and the importance of choosing the path that leads to life.

Paisyn Peterson presented a lesson titled “Who Is Your Superhero?” Using a theme familiar to children, the lesson challenged listeners to think about who deserves their greatest admiration and pointed them toward Jesus as the ultimate example of strength, love and sacrifice.

Clara Allen shared a lesson called “God Is With Us,” offering the reassuring biblical message that God remains present with His people through every circumstance.

Micha Walz taught about the Armor of God, drawing from Ephesians 6 and explaining the spiritual armor God provides believers as they stand firm in their faith.

Kodi Beckman concluded with a lesson on the Parable of the Prodigal Son, highlighting the love, forgiveness and grace of the Father toward those who return to Him.

More than simply an opportunity to speak in front of an audience, the Children’s Bible Teaching event gave each participant a chance to study Scripture, organize a lesson and communicate biblical truth to others. Those are skills that can serve them not only in future Church of God Teen and Junior Talent events, but throughout a lifetime of ministry and discipleship.

West Minot Church is thankful for each young person who accepted the challenge to teach and for the parents, leaders and volunteers who helped them prepare. Seeing children confidently open God’s Word and share what they have learned is an encouraging reminder that ministry is not reserved for some distant point in the future.

The next generation is already learning to serve, teach and share their faith today.
