ABC Child Care Center is located in the West Minot Church of God. We are licensed as a center by the State of North Dakota to serve 118 children at any one time between the ages of birth and twelve years. The center uses a large part of the church building. We have a lunchroom/active play room, infant room, toddler rooms, preschool rooms, office space, and kitchen. The center also maintains a playground that is located north of the parking lot.
ABC Child Care Center exists to provide quality care for the children in our community. We provide a safe, healthy environment that is responsive to the cognitive, emotional, physical, and social needs of the children we serve. We cooperate with, encourage, and support families in the efforts to care for their children. We advocate for families and promote developmentally appropriate activities and care for all children. We encourage the professional development of our staff members.
We use the ProCare app for daily updates such as bottles, diapering, meal tracking, lesson plans, activity logs, picture updates, billing, and more! This is a great way to keep our families involved in real time through our day-to-day activities.

Our infant classroom cares for children ages 0-12 months and is licensed for 8 children at a time with two classroom teachers.

Our toddler room cares for children ages 12-18 months and is licensed to accommodate 8 children with two classroom teachers.

Toddler room caring for children ages 18-24 months and is licensed to accommodate up to 8 children when 2 teachers are present.
Busy Bee
Toddler room caring for children ages 2 years and is licensed to accommodate 6 children at one time.
Little Blossom
Toddler room caring for children ages 2-3 years and is licensed to accommodate up to 8 children at one time.
Bear Room
Toddler room caring for children ages 2-3 years and is licensed to accommodate 6 children at one time.

ABC Child Care Center participates in the USDA Child Nutrition and Food Distribution Program. At no extra cost, we provide breakfast, lunch, and snack in accordance with the programs standards each day.

Hello, my name is Sam and I got into the childcare field while I was still in high school as an after schoolteacher at a local child care center. Since I started working at the daycare, I always knew I would continue working with children and wanted to make a positive impact on the children in my community. During my time at the center, I held various positions such as preschool teacher and later the school age director of multiple locations. It was with these experiences that I realized I wanted to become a childcare center director and decided to go back to college for Early Childhood Education. In 2019, I graduated with my associate degree in early childhood education and continued working as a preschool teacher. I came to ABC Child Care Center as the Director in December of 2021 and have loved being a part of such a great childcare center. With my experiences, I have developed a love for this job and all the families we care for. I believe working with children is exactly what I am meant to do, and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
