Celebrating God-Given Gifts at Teen & Junior Talent 2026

Each year, one of the most exciting opportunities for our young people is participating in Teen & Junior Talent, an annual Church of God event that encourages students to discover, develop, and dedicate their talents to the Lord. Teen Talent has been a cornerstone of Church of God youth ministry for more than six decades, providing opportunities for students to use their gifts in music, art, drama, creative writing, multimedia, Bible teaching, and many other categories.

This year West Minot students brought home 15 different awards and trophies. We were thrilled to have several of our West Minot Church of God students participate in this year's competition. Teen & Junior Talent is much more than a contest, it is a ministry opportunity that challenges young people to use their God-given abilities for His glory. Throughout the preparation process, students invest countless hours practicing, creating, studying, and refining their presentations while growing in their faith and confidence.

The event showcases a wide variety of artistic and ministry gifts. From vocal and instrumental performances to visual arts, drama presentations, Bible teaching, and multimedia projects, participants demonstrate how creativity can be used as a powerful tool for sharing the Gospel and honoring Christ.

We are incredibly proud of all of our students who represented West Minot this year. Their dedication, hard work, and willingness to step out in faith were inspiring to everyone who attended. Whether they received awards or simply gained valuable experience, each participant demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a desire to use their talents for God's kingdom.

A special thank you goes to our parents, leaders, judges, and volunteers who invested their time and energy into supporting these young people. Your encouragement helps cultivate the next generation of worship leaders, artists, communicators, and ministry servants.

As a church, we believe every gift comes from God and is meant to be used for His glory. We look forward to seeing how the Lord continues to develop the talents and callings of our young people in the years ahead.
